Why buy special Italian seasoning when it is super easy to just make your own when you need it?
Super Quick Italian Seasoning Recipe
Honestly I don’t use Italian seasoning very often, but occasionally a recipe will call for it, much like the bacon wrapped chicken breast recipe I recently made. This means that I don’t usually keep it on hand. For instances like this, I just mix up a small batch of Italian seasoning.
To make this, just drop the ingredients into a spice grinder or mortar and pestle, mix them up and you are good to go. If you don’t have one, you can use the handle of a knife or other kitchen tool to roughly grind/mix the spices.
Tools For This Recipe
Here are a few of the tools you may want for this recipe. You don’t have to use a mortar & pestle, or spice grinder for this recipe, but it is nice for getting a nice fine spice blend.
